My name is Catherine Wadley-Scott. I am a fully qualified teacher having received my degree and teaching certificate from Warwick University in 1999. The degree completed was a Bachelor of Arts with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in English as a main subject and Humanities (History & Geography) as a subsidiary subject.
Over the last 20+ years, I have taught a wide range of ages in a variety of settings including 10+ years as a class teacher in the British public school system, with a role as Literacy Co-ordinator, through to teaching Business English to Masters students at IAE (l’Institute d’Administrative des Enterprises) part of the Aix-Marseille University.
From 2014-2022 I worked at IBS the International Bilingual School in Luynes teaching students aged 11-18 (6ème - Terminale) in English, History & Geography including the iGCSE Cambridge exam syllabus and the International Baccalaureat (IB).
I also have the CELTA (Cambridge English Language Teaching for Adults) qualification.
